A Picture in Contrasts

Everyday we see through a prism of contrasts? Turn on the TV and you'll find a program highlighting something or someone using the power of contrasts - from hairstyles, body, or fashion makeovers to entire homes being transformed within a week. It's amazing to see what can be done, sometimes with very little additional cost.

The WWW has evolved quite a bit within its short history. Early on we got excited over animated gifs and midi files. Today, we can access music immediately, purchase products without ever having to leave our homes, and do so much more. Unfortunately, even with such great advancements, I'm disheartened that so many sites are visually lacking.

Just as the "going green" movement is growing to protect our planet, I feel the same about improving the web and making it more visually appealing. This project is about inspiring others to make a difference, to create masterpieces, and change the visual aesthetics of how we experience the web. My hope is that this web redesign project showcases some of that call for a change.
